EFFECTIVE AND SAFE The M-CAD allows soldiers to stop vehicles and assess checkpoint situations remotely. This eliminates risks associated with having a human directly in the path of vehicles. When the operator pushes the red button on the remote control the signal turns red, the gate-arm lowers and the tire blades instantly rise. The operator pushes the green button following vehicle inspection. The signal turns to flashing amber, the gate-arm raises and the tire blades retract.
